Vanilla Leather BDK Parfums: olfactory journey between warmth and sensuality

The French niche perfume house BDK presents a new fragrance for the year 2023 for unisex, which under the name Vanilla Leather, in a collaboration that is the first of its kind with the veteran and well-known perfumer Dominique Ropion.

Vanille Leather honors vanilla, a precious spice from Madagascar, in a creation with voluptuous and textured tones. Majestic, it invites you on an olfactory journey between warmth and sensuality. It melts into a trilogy of Indian tuberose, Egyptian jasmine and orange blossom. To this harmony of white flowers is added a spicy facet of pink berries to give way to the addictive notes of Indonesian patchouli and oak wood. An intoxicating and audacious trail with leathery and smoky facets.

Vanille Leather is a floral, amber and woody fragrance, where white flowers mingle with the smoothness of vanilla from Madagascar. The woody and leathery depth of the fragrance brings a mysterious and bold character to the trail.

**New fragrance from BDK: Vanilla Leather**

There’s no better note to start your day off on than vanilla, a fact that BDK Parfums wholeheartedly recognises with its Vanille Leather eau de parfum. It’s an audacious and mysterious fragrance that pays tribute to the majestic vanilla pod.

My intention was to combine the precious vanilla pod with a bouquet of white flowers to slowly reveal its warm and sensual personality. The vanilla is adorned with the sulfurous and slightly honeyed tones of tuberose, then drinks in the powerful sweetness of jasmine and finally melting into the round, carnal notes of orange blossom. To intensify the trail, I chose to work around the notes of oak wood and patchouli.
