Amouage invites you to enter its secret garden again and enjoy the pleasure of life and the joy of love through its new creation Love Delight, which was released in 2024 in its first collaboration with perfumer Pascal Gaurin.

Love Delight comes under The Secret Garden Collection that start in 2016 with lilac love (created by Nathalie Lorson and Elise Bena), then blossom bloom in 2017 (ceeated by Nathalie Lorson and Elise Benat), then love tuberose in 2018 (created by Nathalie Lorson), and love mimise in 2019 (created by Elise Benat) and discontinued.

The Secret Garden Collection revived and redesigned -an exploration of contemporary femininity with tantalizingly flavoursome accords and distinctive floral notes.

With warmth and openness, the perfumes of the Collection have captured the true spirit of femininity in the modern woman, rejoicing in all its inspirational intricacy. Now, having formed a distinct stylistic profile, Amouage’s Secret Garden nas been re-imagined and revived, ready toembark on further journeys of creative exploration.To mark the occasion, a brand new composition Love Delight, joins the Collection – a delicious creation that adds another alluring dimension tothe quartet’s expression of womanhood.

All four Secret Garden Eaux de Parfum are now presented in re-imagined flacons, featuring a colour palette that emphasises a sense of the enigmatic without losing any of the Collection’s vitality. The hues have taken on a more matte appearance and the bottles’ soft-touch ceramic coating adds an enchantingly tactile dimension to the ritual of applying the scent. The texture of the bottles now calls to mind a fine, leafy down, which grounds the Collection in the realm of gardens and flora, while making it feel familiar, inviting and confidently contemporary.

I was inspired to create Love Delight by the uniquely fragrant atmosphere of bakeries in Muscat and the surrounding region. When Arabic sweets are taken out of the oven, the air is saturated with the aromas of warm, baked dough, accompanied by the scents of roasted nuts, saffron, cardamom, cinnamon, orange blossom and rose water. This sweet is delicious and extremely refined.

These perfumes are called delicate and sensual. It’s like tasting a piece of candy inside a garden full of dewy flowers. How could it not, since it is inspired by Arabic sweets, especially those flavored with honey (honey cake).

The Love Delight perfume begins with spiced rose tinged with refreshing citrus, moving slowly and gently to show us a powdery heart full of roses and soft white flowers, landing on sugary woody notes with spicy herbal touches.
